A volunteer engagement portal for nonprofits on the Microsoft Cloud for Nonprofit. Volunteers browse opportunities, sign up for specific shifts, log their hours, and see their cumulative impact — all tied to the `msnfp_participation` and related schedule tables out of the Nonprofit Accelerator.

What's in this template
Opportunity browser
Card grid of active opportunities filtered by category (Environment, Education, Health, Community, Housing), date range, and location. Backed by `msnfp_engagementopportunity`.
Shift signup with capacity enforcement
Volunteers pick specific shifts (`msnfp_engagementopportunityschedule`). Portal prevents over-signup by comparing filled count against capacity before creating the participation record.
Personal volunteer dashboard
Upcoming commitments, logged hours, and participation history — all filtered by the current contact's `_contactid_value`.
Hour logging + confirmation
Post-shift, volunteers confirm attended hours via a simple form that updates `msnfp_participationschedule` status from Scheduled → Completed.
Impact summary
KPI cards showing total hours logged, opportunities completed, and lifetime impact in a human-readable format for social sharing.
